Fuel Drain Manifold: Service and Repair
Fuel Drain Manifold
REMOVAL
Fuel Drain Manifold
1.
Remove the fuel drain manifold hold-down clamp mounting bolts.
2.
Remove the injection pump vent capscrew.
Fuel Drain Manifold Fitting Screws
3.
Remove the fuel drain manifold fitting screws and washers at each fuel injector.
4.
Disconnect the drain manifold T-fittings.
INSTALLATION
1.
Install all new seals and connect the drain manifold drain fittings.
2.
Install the drain manifold fitting screws and seals into each fuel injector. Torque the drain manifold connections to 6 lb-ft (8 Nm).
3.
Install the drain manifold fitting screws and torque to 18 lb-ft (24 Nm).
4.
Torque the injection pump capscrew to 24 lb-ft (32 Nm).
