Lubricate the spherical pivot and guide pin slots (Figure 3) of the replacement stub shifter with multi-purpose grease.
6.
Align the replacement stub shifter so that the guide pins in the sides of the shift tower fit into the slots in the side of the stub shifter sphere. The
stub shifter seat aligns on top of the sphere with its slots over the guide pins.
7.
Install snap ring into groove inside shift tower to secure stub shifter and its seat.
