Power Door Lock Motor: Service and Repair
REMOVAL
Door Mounted Motors And Connectors
1.
Remove door trim panel and liner. See: Doors, Hood and Trunk
2.
Roll door watershield away from lower rear corner of door to reveal inner door panel access opening.
3.
Disconnect the power door lock motor link at the door latch.
4.
Disconnect the power door lock motor electrical connector.
4.
Remove the power door lock motor mounting screws, and remove the motor from the door.
INSTALLATION
1.
Mount the lock motor into the door and install the two (2) mounting screws.
2.
Connect the lock motor electrical connector.
3.
Connect the lock motor link to the door latch.
4.
Reset the door watershield and install the trim panel. See: Doors, Hood and Trunk
