Clutch Linkage: Service and Repair
1. Raise and support vehicle.
2. Remove slave cylinder attaching nuts, then the slave cylinder and clip from housing.
3. Remove hydraulic fluid line from body clips, then lower vehicle.
4. Carefully remove retaining clip from clutch master cylinder mounting bracket, disconnect clutch master cylinder pushrod from clutch pedal.
5. Remove screws attaching clutch reservoir to dash panel, then pull clutch master cylinder rubber seal from dash panel.
6. Rotate clutch master cylinder 45° counterclockwise to unlock it, then remove cylinder from dash panel.
7. Remove clutch hydraulic linkage from vehicle.
8. Reverse procedure to install. Tighten screws and nuts to specifications.
