Measure the center to center distance of the eye-rings.  The distance should be 44 3/16 inches +/- 1/8 inch (1122 mm +/- 3 mm).

Align the rubber bushings to be 8 1/4 inches +/- 1/16 inch (209 mm +/- 1.5 mm) from the center of each eye-ring as shown in Figure 2.

Install the stabilizer bar as described in the service manual and to ensure a "centered" stabilizer bar, be sure the bar to frame jounce bumper
striker pad distance is the same on both sides. This procedure can be used for all model years affected.
