Canister Purge Solenoid: Service and Repair
EVAP Purge Solenoid - Removal
REMOVAL
The duty-cycle EVAP canister purge solenoid (1) is located in the engine compartment.
The solenoid (2) is attached to a bracket (1) near the brake power booster (4).
1. Disconnect electrical wiring connector (3) at solenoid.
2. Disconnect vacuum lines (5) and (6) at solenoid.
3. Remove solenoid straight up from mounting bracket.
