Door Sensor/Switch (For Alarm): Service and Repair
REMOVAL
1. Disconnect and isolate the battery negative cable.
2. Grasp the body of the door jamb switch with a pair of pliers and move the switch gently back-and-forth while pulling it out of the door hinge pillar
mounting hole.

3. Pull the switch out from the pillar far enough to access the wire harness connector.
4. Unplug the wire harness connector from the switch.
5. Reverse the removal procedures to install.
