SYMPTOM/CONDITION:
Vehicle exhibits a squeak from the strut mount area while turning.
DIAGNOSIS:
1.
Park the vehicle on a surface where turning the wheels will not generate tire noise.
2.
Turn the ignition switch to the off but unlocked position.
3.
Turn the steering wheel to the right and/or left slowly, listen for a squeaking noise. The noise could exist on the right and/or left side(s).
4.
After verifying the squeaking noise is from the strut mount area, the strut mount should be replaced.

procedure.
