About the Diplomat
The Diplomat (1977–1989) was a rear-wheel-drive mid-size car on Chrysler's M platform, sold only as a saloon from 1982 and nearly identical to the Plymouth Gran Fury. It was Dodge's last car with a carburettor and its last rear-drive car, apart from the Viper, until the 2005 Magnum.
