1982-83 CORDOBA & MIRADA
1.
Disconnect battery ground cable.
2.
Remove five hood and brake release bezel screws, then the bezel.
3.
Remove four accessory switch bezel screws, then the bezel.
4.
Pull gearshift pointer cable from steering column.
5.
Remove lower left and righthand bezels and gearshift pointer cable.
6.
Remove three steering column toe plate bolts at firewall, then the nuts and washers attaching steering column bracket to instrument panel steering
column support bracket. Lower the steering column, allowing steering wheel to rest on seat.
7.
Disconnect speedometer cable and right hand mirror control cable.
8.
Remove five screws securing instrument cluster to panel.
9.
Roll cluster downward and disconnect headlamp switch electrical connector and instrument cluster wiring.
10.
Remove instrument cluster from vehicle.
11.
Reverse procedure to install.
