Durango 2WD V8-4.7L Flex Fuel (2009)
6. Install Camshaft Holder 8428A (1) on camshaft (2).
7. Hold the camshaft with Camshaft Holder 8428A (1) while removing the camshaft sprocket bolt and sprocket (3).
CAUTION: Do not stamp or strike the camshaft bearing caps or severe engine damage may result.
NOTE: When the camshaft is removed the rocker arms may slide downward, mark the rocker arms before removing camshaft.
8. Loosen the camshaft bearing cap retaining bolts 1/2 turn at a time as shown. Repeat until all load is off the bearing caps.
9. Remove the camshaft bearing caps and the camshaft.
