9. Loosen the brake pedal assembly forward mounting bolt (2) (located in front of the brake pedal feel simulator) for access to slide the assembly
from the instrument panel.
10. Remove the brake booster nuts (1) and discard.
11. Remove the brake pedal assembly to cowl nut (2).
12. Remove the brake pedal assembly from the vehicle by sliding assembly rearward off the forward mounting bolt.
13. Remove and transfer any necessary components.
