CAUTION: The tappets and guide holder assembly must be installed as an assembly and in their original locations or engine damage could
result.
CAUTION: If the tappets and guide holder assembly are to be reused, identify tappets to ensure installation in their original location.
5. Remove the tappet guide holder (1) and tappets (2) as an assembly.
6. Check the camshaft lobes for abnormal wear.
