Cylinder Head Cover(s) - Installation
INSTALLATION
WARNING: On vehicles equipped with the high voltage system, you must thoroughly read and follow all High Voltage Safety procedures. In
addition, before performing any diagnostic or service procedure near a high voltage component, you must perform the High
Voltage Power Down. Failure to follow these instructions may result in possible serious or fatal injury See: Hybrid Drive

CAUTION: Do not use harsh cleaners to clean the cylinder head covers. Severe damage to covers may occur.
CAUTION: Do not allow other components including the wire harness to rest on or against the engine cylinder head cover. Prolonged contact
with other objects may wear a hole in the cylinder head cover.
1. Clean the cylinder head cover (1) and both sealing surfaces (4), inspect and replace the gasket (2) as necessary.
2. Install the cylinder head cover and hand start all fasteners. Verify that all double ended studs (3) are in the correct location.
