Front Crankshaft Oil Seal - Removal
REMOVAL

1. Perform the HEV high voltage power down procedure See: Hybrid Drive Systems/Battery System, Hybrid Drive/Service and Repair/Battery
System - High Voltage Power Down
2. Remove the water pump drive belt (1) See: Drive Belts, Mounts, Brackets and Accessories/Drive Belt/Service and Repair/Removal and
Replacement/Serpentine Accessory Drive Belt - Removal
3. Drain the cooling system See: Cooling System/Service and Repair
4. Remove the upper radiator hose.
5. Remove the radiator, radiator cooling fan and shroud as an assembly See: Cooling System/Radiator Cooling Fan
6. Remove the crankshaft damper bolt.
7. Remove the vibration damper using crankshaft insert 8513A (2) and three jaw puller 1023 (1) See: Cylinder Block Assembly/Harmonic Balancer -
