Coolant Reservoir: Service and Repair
NOTE:

Refer to Coolant Level Check-Service, Deaeration and Radiator Pressure Cap for coolant reserve/overflow system operation and service.

Should the reserve/overflow tank become coated with corrosion or emulsifiable oil, it can be cleaned with detergent and water. Rinse tank
thoroughly before refilling cooling system.
REMOVAL
1. Remove battery positive and negative cables and battery.
Coolant Recovery Bottle
2. Remove upper radiator closure panel.
3. Remove overflow hose at reserve/overflow tank.
4. Remove three (3) coolant recovery bottle screws and remove coolant recovery bottle from vehicle.
INSTALLATION
1. Install coolant recovery bottle and three (3) Screws.
2. Install overflow hose to tank.
3. Install upper radiator closure panel.
4. Install battery.
5. Add coolant (refer to coolant level checking procedure.
