Brake Light Switch: Testing and Inspection
The stop lamp switch has a 12 volt feed circuit from the fuse block. Verify fuse is OK, then check the feed from the fuse block to the switch. If the switch
has 12 volts depress the brake pedal and check for voltage to the stop lamp circuit. If no voltage is present the switch must be replaced. If the switch does
not have 12 volts from the fuse block check for continuity between the fuse block the switch and repair as necessary.
