REPAIR PROCEDURE

The following procedure outlines the repair of a body noise in the dash panel on subject vehicle.

1.

Refer to figure 1 as a guide to establish measurements for placement of a dimple in the dash panel sheet metal.

2.

Using a suitable long, blunt drift and hammer, place a 4-7 mm (1/4 in.) deep dimple at the specified reference point.

3.

Road test vehicle to verify repair.
