Head Rest: Service and Repair
Headrest Sleeve - Installation

Front

INSTALLATION

NOTE: Head restraint sleeves are not interchangeable. The sleeve with adjustment lock button is positioned on the inboard side of the seat.

NOTE: Illustration shown with seat back cover and foam removed for clarity.

1. Push the head restraint sleeves (1 and 3) downward until the retaining tabs (2) and retaining barbs (5 and 6) are fully engaged to the seat back

frame (4).

2. Reposition the top of the seat back cushion cover and engage the J-hook that secures the cover to the frameSee: Seat Back/Service and

Repair/Removal and Replacement/Seat Back Cushion / Cover - Installation.

3. Install the plastic seat back coverSee: Seat Back/Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Seat Back Cover - Installation.
4. Install the head restraintSee: Headrest - Installation.
5. Reconnect the negative battery cable.

INSTALLATION

NOTE: Right seat shown in illustrations. Left seat similar.

1. Insert the head restraint sleeves (1 and 2) into the top of the seat back.
