4. Install the two bolts (3) that secure the inboard seat back hinge (2) and the seat belt latch (1) to the seat cushion frame (4). Tighten the bolts to 48

Nm (35 ft. lbs.).

5. If equipped with heated seats, connect the seat back wire harness connector.
6. Install the seat cushion side shieldsSee: Seat Cushion/Service and Repair/Seat Cushion Side Shields - Installation.
7. Install the seat into the vehicle.

Bench Seat - Flat Floor

INSTALLATION

NOTE: Bench seats equipped with child restraint seats have an interlock feature that will not allow the seat back to fold forward with the child
seat open.

NOTE: Passenger side shown. Driver side similar.

1. Position the seat back to the seat back hinges (3) and install the retaining bolts (1). Tighten the bolts to 48 Nm (35 ft. lbs.).
2. Adjust synchronizing cable, if equippedSee: Child Seat/Service and Repair/Procedures.
3. Install the seat back hinge coversSee: Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Seat Back Hinge Covers - Installation.
4. If required, install the armrestsSee: Interior Moulding / Trim/Arm Rest/Service and Repair/Armrest - Installation.
5. If required, install the headrestsSee: Head Rest/Service and Repair/Headrest - Installation.

Third Row Power Folding Seats

INSTALLATION

1. Refer to BODY/SEATS/SEAT - DESCRIPTION See: Description and Operation/Seat - Description for seat exploded view and call outs.
2. Install the seat back to the seat.
3. Connect the electrical connectors.
4. Install the mounting bolts. Torque to 47 N-m (35 ft. lbs.).
5. Install the recliner covers.
6. Install the seat to the vehicle.See: Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Seat - Installation.
