REMOVAL
1. Disconnect and isolate the battery negative cable.
2. Remove the left rear D-pillar trim panel from the vehicle.
Liftgate Gear Motor Assembly
3. Remove the lift gear retaining bolts.
4. Remove the lift gear and rod from the vehicle.
