12. Rotate the hub and bearing flange around until the stud lines up with the pocket in the brake adapter, then remove the stud from the hub and
bearing flange utilizing the extra clearance that pocket allows (Figure 5).
DRUM BRAKES
1. Raise and support the vehicle.
2. Remove the rear wheel and tire assembly. See: Service and Repair
3. Remove the brake drum.
4. If possible, install a wheel mounting nut on the wheel stud to be removed so the threads on wheel stud are even with end of lug nut (Figure 6).
