Lower Sliding Door Rail: Service and Repair
Lower Track - Installation
INSTALLATION
1. With power sliding door, install the power sliding door drive assembly. See: Power Sliding Door Drive Assembly/Service and Repair/Power
Sliding Door Drive Assembly - Installation.
2. Carefully install the track in the vehicle.
3. Install the five lower track retaining nuts.
4. Install the sliding door inner seal to the bottom of the door opening.
5. Install the sliding door lower hinge. See: Service and Repair/Sliding Door Hinge - Installation.
6. Install the hold open latch to the lower sliding door hinge (3) and install the hold-open latch retaining nuts (2).
7. Install the hold open striker (1) and install the hold-open striker retaining bolts (4).
8. Install the sensor from the body channel and install the side impact sensor retaining bolt.
9. Connect the side impact sensor electrical connector.
10. Install the harness into the body channel.
11. Connect the sliding door wire harness connector to the bottom of the sliding door (1).
12. Install the sliding door sill plate. See: Interior Moulding / Trim/Scuff Plate/Service and Repair/Scuff Plate - Installation.
13. Connect the battery negative cable.
