7. If equipped, remove the subwoofer, See: Accessories and Optional Equipment/Radio, Stereo, and Compact Disc/Speaker/Service and
Repair/Speaker - Removal.
8. Disconnect the wire harness connectors (4) from the power liftgate control module (2).
9. Remove the power liftgate control module retainer (3).
10. Tilt the rear of the module (2) away from the quarter panel and disengage the mounting tab from the locating slot (1).
11. Remove the power liftgate control module (2) from the vehicle.
