4. Cut the heat shield along the line indicated in (Fig. 1).

5. Install the power steering gear heat shield. Refer to the detailed removal and installation procedures available in DealerConnect > TechCONNECT

under: Service info > Steering > Gear > Installation > Step 15.

NOTE: 

When installing the push pins replace them with p/n 06501948
