Front Door Window Glass: Service and Repair
Front Door Glass - Installation

INSTALLATION

NOTE: Left side door shown in illustrations. Right side door similar.

NOTE: If the door glass did not move in the door using with power window switch, replace the regulator and/or the regulator motor or repair
the electrical concern prior to installing the door glass.

1. Install the front door glass (1) into the window opening. Tip the front of the glass downward to engage the glass onto the glass run and then

carefully lower the rear of the glass into the door. Make sure the glass is properly positioned within the glass run.

NOTE: Illustration shown with carrier plate removed for clarity.

2. Working through the close-out plug and speaker holes in the carrier plate, carefully engage the front door glass (1) into the two plastic retainer

clips (2) located on the window regulator (3).

3. Install the door speakerSee: Accessories and Optional Equipment/Radio, Stereo, and Compact Disc/Speaker/Service and Repair/Speaker -

Installation.

4. Install the close-out plug (1) onto the carrier plate (2).
