Remove the grease from the regulator slider run channels with mineral spirits (or equivalent) using a paper towel or rag. Two passes with mineral
spirits and a drying pass should be sufficient.
3.
Apply BSR Kit Lubricant, p/n 05019061AA, to the channels in the areas where sliders operate. Make sure to apply grease on all inner "C"
channels as well as the slider's ball joint pivot socket.
4.
Use the procedures outlined in the appropriate service manual or the information on TechCONNECT to install the window regulator.
5.
Operate the glass up and down several times to verify the shudder/chatter/creak sound has been eliminated.
6.
Repeat procedure on other quarter window regulator as necessary **
LH-Vehicles, **Front or Rear**
1.
Run the door glass all the way up then very slightly down.
2.
Apply masking or duct tape the door glass and door frame to hold the glass in position while the window regulator is removed.
3.
Use the procedures outlined in the appropriate service manual or the information on TechCONNECT to remove the door trim panel and water
shield.
4.
Use the procedures outlined in the appropriate service manual or the information on TechCONNECT to remove the window regulator.
5.

NOTE:
Care must be taken not to get mineral spirits into the slider's ball joint pivot socket

Apply BSR Kit Lubricant, p/n 05019061AA, to the channels in the areas where sliders operate. Make sure to apply grease on all inner "C"
channels as well as the slider's ball joint pivot socket.
NOTE:
Prior to tightening the window regulator fasteners, adjust the glass correctly by:

With the glass near the full up position, square the glass in the opening by pulling rearward against the "b" pillar glass run.

Adjust the tension by pushing down on the equalizer channel with enough force (2 lbs. max) to take out any looseness in the system and tighten
the fastener. Do not over adjust.
7.
Use the procedures outlined in the appropriate service manual or the information on TechCONNECT to install the window regulator.
8.
Operate the glass up and down several times to verify the shudder/chatter/creak sound has been eliminated.
9.
Use the procedures outlined in the appropriate service manual or the information on TechCONNECT to install the door trim panel and water
shield.
10.
Verify the function of the remote handle, door lock, courtesy lamp, window switches, power mirror, and speakers.
11.
Repeat procedure on other window regulators as necessary.
