Lower

LOWER INTAKE MANIFOLD

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable (1).
2. Perform fuel pressure release procedure. See: Cylinder Head Assembly/Fuel Pressure Release/Service and Repair 
3. Drain the cooling system See: Cooling System/Service and Repair.

4. Disconnect the upper radiator hose (1) from the thermostat housing (2).
5. Remove the upper intake manifold See: .
6. Disconnect the electrical connectors to fuel injectors and coolant temperature sensor.
