8. Remove the lower front timing belt cover fasteners.
9. Lower the vehicle.

10. Support the engine with a floor jack.
11. Remove the front engine mount See: Drive Belts, Mounts, Brackets and Accessories/Engine Mount/Service and Repair/Engine Mount Insulator -

Removal. 

12. Disconnect the fuel supply line at the fuel rail.
13. Remove the upper timing belt cover bolts and remove front timing belt cover See: Tune-up and Engine Performance Checks/Air Cleaner

Housing/Service and Repair/Air Cleaner Body - Removal.

Rear

REMOVAL

1. Perform fuel pressure release procedure. See: Cylinder Head Assembly/Fuel Pressure Release/Service and Repair.
2. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
3. Remove timing belt, See: Timing Belt/Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Timing Belt & Sprockets - Removal.
4. Remove camshaft sprockets, See: Timing Belt/Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Timing Belt & Sprockets - Removal.
