Antenna Cable: Service and Repair
Antenna Cable

Removal

REMOVAL

NOTE: A battery reconnect procedure must be performed anytime the battery has been disconnected. See: Starting and
Charging/Battery/Service and Repair/Procedures/Battery Reconnection.

1. Disconnect and isolate battery negative cable.
2. Remove right side cowl trim panel See: Body and Frame/Interior Moulding / Trim/Trim Panel/Service and Repair/Cowl Trim/Cowl Trim -

Removal.

3. Disconnect antenna cable from instrument panel antenna cable.
4. Remove right side front and rear door scuff plates See: Body and Frame/Interior Moulding / Trim/Scuff Plate/Service and Repair/Door Sill Scuff

Plate/Door Sill Scuff Plate - Removal.

5. Remove right side C-pillar trim panel See: Body and Frame/Interior Moulding / Trim/Trim Panel/Service and Repair/Pillar Trim/C-Pillar Trim

Panel-Removal.

6. Disconnect antenna cable from antenna module.
7. Move floor carpet aside.
8. Remove antenna cable.

Installation

INSTALLATION

NOTE: A battery reconnect procedure must be performed anytime the battery has been disconnected. See: Starting and
Charging/Battery/Service and Repair/Procedures/Battery Reconnection.

1. Position antenna cable and secure to wire harness.
2. Connect antenna cable to antenna module.
3. Connect antenna cable to instrument panel antenna cable.
4. Install right side C-pillar trim panel See: Body and Frame/Interior Moulding / Trim/Trim Panel/Service and Repair/Pillar Trim/C-Pillar Trim

Panel-Installation.

5. Install right side front and rear door scuff plates See: Body and Frame/Interior Moulding / Trim/Scuff Plate/Service and Repair/Door Sill Scuff

Plate/Door Sill Scuff Plate - Installation.

6. Install right side cowl trim panel See: Body and Frame/Interior Moulding / Trim/Trim Panel/Service and Repair/Cowl Trim/Cowl Trim -

Installation.

7. Connect battery negative cable.
