Flash: MIL Illumination - DTC P0300 - Multiple Cylinder Misfire (Police Package)
OVERVIEW:
This bulletin involves selectively erasing and reprogramming the Powertrain Control Module (PCM) with new software.

NOTE:
This bulletin applies to models equipped with a 3.5L Engine, W5A580 (NAGI) Automatic Transmission and Police Package (sales code EGG/DGJ
and AHB).
SYMPTOM/CONDITION:
The vehicle operator may experience MIL illumination with no other symptoms or conditions experienced. This condition may occur intermittently and
can be difficult to duplicate.
DIAGNOSIS:
Using a Scan Tool (StarSCAN(R)) with the appropriate Diagnostic Procedures available in TechCONNECT, verify all engine systems are functioning as
designed. If DIG's are present record them on the repair order and repair as necessary before proceeding further with this bulletin.
If the vehicle is brought in due to MIL illumination and DTC P0300 - Multiple Cylinder Misfire was recorded, perform the Repair Procedure.
