DISCUSSION:
Damage to the front and rear suspension components can be caused by incorrect usage of the suspension for tie down during transportation of the
vehicle. If correct vehicle jacking (lifting/hoisting) procedures are not followed, then damage may result to those suspension components where the jack
has not been properly positioned.
When the vehicle requires towing, the vehicle should be secured using only the correct prescribed tie down locations. Refer to the service information
available in TechCONNECT or the appropriate owner's manual in the "What to do in emergencies" section.
