Insert the "tee", PN 4104172, into the hose cut in previous step.

Cut a piece of 3/16" vacuum hose, PN 4105167 (serviced in bulk), 17" long. Connect one end of this hose to the open nipple of the vacuum
"tee" and the other end to the straight connector in the ESA vacuum hose. Route the new hose behind the valve cover assuring it will not
interfere with anything.
11.
Cut a piece of 3/16" vacuum hose, PN 4105167 (serviced in bulk), 4" long. Insert one end of this hose onto the exposed vacuum nipple
behind the valve cover and the other end over the nipple on the diverter valve.
NOTE:
ON 1986 FEDERAL VEHICLES, CUT THE 4" VACUUM LINE IN HALF AND PLACE THE VACUUM DELAY
VALVE, PN 4324017, IN THE HOSE WITH THE BROWN SIDE TOWARD THE DIVERTER VALVE.
