Vacuum Brake Booster: Service and Repair

1.

Disconnect battery ground cable.

2.

Remove vacuum supply hose from check valve.

3.

Remove throttle cable attaching clip and position cable aside.

4.

Remove intake hose at air cleaner and throttle body, then position hose aside.

5.

Remove master cylinder, refer to MASTER CYLINDER.

6.

Remove retaining clip attaching booster push rod to brake pedal and discard.

7.

Remove power brake unit attaching nuts and the unit.

8.

Reverse procedure to install.
