Interior Lighting Relay: Description and Operation
CIRCUIT OPERATION
The time out relay is located in the fuse block and is used to control the ground path for various interior lamps. It will also turn the lamps OFF
after a specified period of time, and works with the Remote Keyless Entry (RKE) system for illuminated entry.
Circuit M2 connects to the relay and supplied a ground path through the door ajar switches.
Circuit M1 is used to supply battery voltage to the relay. This circuit is produced by a 10 Amp fuse located in cavity 13 of the Power Distribution
Center (PDC).
Circuit M32 is connected from the relay to the various interior lamps and RKE module.
