RAM 1500 Truck 4WD V8-5.7L VIN D (2005)
1. CHECK THE (G10) SEAT BELT SWITCH SENSE CIRCUIT FOR A SHORT TO GROUND
Turn the ignition off.
Disconnect the Seat Belt Switch harness connector.
Disconnect the Instrument Cluster C3 harness connector.
Measure the resistance between ground and the (G10) Seat Belt Switch Sense circuit.
Q: Is the resistance below 5.0 ohms?
YES: Repair the (G10) Seat Belt Switch Sense circuit for a short to ground. Perform BODY VERIFICATION TEST - VER 1. See: Computers

NO: Replace and configure the Instrument Cluster. Perform BODY VERIFICATION TEST - VER 1. See: Computers and Control
