Power Seat Track - Excessive Play Causing Rocking or Chucking
OVERVIEW:
This bulletin involves replacing the power seat track.
MODELS:
2002 (DR) Ram Truck
SYMPTOM/CONDITION:
Customers may notice a slight rocking or chucking movement in the seat track when the customer accelerates the vehicle or applies the brakes.
DIAGNOSIS:
If customers indicate that the movement is present, perform the Repair Procedure.
PARTS REQUIRED:
REPAIR PROCEDURE:
Using the procedure outlined in the 2002 Ram Truck Service Manual, publication number 81-370-02059, remove and replace the seat track with the
appropriate part listed above.
Transfer the original harness and heated seat control to the new seat track if so equipped.
POLICY:
Reimbursable within the provisions of the warranty.
