13. Remove companion flange with Remover C-452 (Fig. 47).
14. Remove pinion gear from the housing (Fig. 48).
15. Remove pinion seal with a pry tool or slide hammer mounted screw.
16. Remove front pinion bearing and oil slinger if equipped.
