About the Ram 1500 Truck 2WD
The Ram 1500 Truck 2WD is the two-wheel-drive half-ton Ram pickup. The Ram name arrived in October 1980 for the 1981 model year, when Dodge's D-series pickups and B-series vans were rebranded; from 2010 Ram became a separate brand. The second generation of 1994 won Motor Trend's Truck of the Year, and the third followed for 2002 (2003 for heavy duty). From 1989 a 5.9-litre Cummins B-series turbo diesel was offered, later joined by a 6.7-litre turbo diesel.
