Windshield Washer Reservoir: Service and Repair

REMOVAL

1.

Disconnect and isolate the battery negative cable.

Washer Reservoir Remove/Install

2.

Unplug the wire harness connectors from the washer pump and the washer fluid level sensor.

3.

Remove the washer supply hose from the washer pump and drain the washer fluid from the reservoir into a clean container for reuse.

4.

Remove the two screws that secure the top of the washer reservoir to the top of the radiator closure panel.

5.

Lift the washer reservoir upwards far enough to disengage the reservoir mounting tab from the mounting slot in the lower radiator closure panel.

6.

Remove the washer reservoir from the engine compartment.

7.

Reverse the removal procedures to install. Tighten the mounting screws to 5.6 N.m (50 in. lbs.).
