There is a dedicated mounting hole in the top of the sump area at the front of the reservoir with a receptacle provided for the mounting of the
washer/pump motor unit (4) without the use of fasteners. A separate dedicated mounting hole is provided in the rearward facing (gasoline engine) or
forward facing (diesel engine) side of the reservoir for the washer fluid level switch (3). An integral molded routing trough for the washer hose and
washer pump/motor unit wiring routes the hose and wiring bundle from the washer pump to the outboard side of the reservoir.

A washer reservoir cannot be repaired and, if ineffective or damaged, the unit must be replaced. The washer pump/motor unit, the washer fluid level
switch, their rubber grommet seals, as well as the reservoir filler cap are each available for individual service replacement.
