Apply approximately five feet of the closed cell PVC foam p/n 04882735 on the inside top edge of the grille as shown on Figures 3 and 4. Be sure
to line-up the edge of the foam strip to the inside edge of the grille.

Trim excess foam strip from grille.
9.
Install the grille onto the grille bracket.
10.
Install the four nuts holding the grille to the hood. Replace all push-nuts/vinyl caps with new nut p/n 06102101AA. Tighten the nuts to 3.4 Nm (30
in. lbs.) of torque.
11.
Install the six bolts that hold the bottom of the grille to the bracket. Tighten the bolts to 3 Nm (30 in. lbs.) of torque.
12.
Inspect the grille for dimples at the attachment points. Carefully bend the hood flange forward to eliminate any dimples in the grille.
CAUTION:
BENDING THE HOOD FLANGE TOO FAR FORWARD CAN RESULT IN CAUSING THE WINDNOISE/WHISTLE TO RE-OCCUR
AROUND THE GRILLE.
