Front Door Exterior Handle: Service and Repair
Front Door Exterior Handle - Installation
INSTALLATION
1. Position the exterior handle (1) into the door (4).
2. Install the two nuts (2) that secure the exterior handle to the door. Tighten the nuts to 10 Nm (89 in. lbs.).
3. Connect the actuator rods (6 and 8) for the door latch (5) to the exterior handle.
4. If equipped, connect the exterior handle wire lead (7) to the door wire harness connector (3).
5. Install the door glass See: Front Door Window Glass/Service and Repair/Front Door Glass - Installation .
6. Reconnect the negative battery cable.
