Antenna: Service and Repair

REMOVAL

1. Disconnect and isolate the battery negative cable.
2. Remove the five screws that secure the right cowl side kick panel/sill trim. Remove the kick panel/ sill trim.

3. Remove the antenna mast from the antenna body.

4. Remove the antenna cap nut with an antenna nut wrench (Special Tool C-4816).

5. Lower the antenna body and cable assembly through the fender far enough to gain access to the antenna body.
6. Remove the antenna body and cable by pulling the coaxial cable and grommet out through the engine compartment side of the dash panel outboard

of the Powertrain Control Module (PCM), then through the opening in the right cowl side reinforcement.
