Ambient Temperature Sensor / Switch HVAC: Service and Repair
REMOVAL
1. Disconnect and isolate the battery negative cable.
Ambient Temperature Sensor/Road Temperature Sensor
2. Locate the temperature sensor and mounting bracket that are secured with a screw to the upper radiator support, just to the driver side of the hood
latch and behind the radiator grille.
3. Unplug the temperature sensor wire harness connector.
4. Remove the screw that secures the temperature sensor and mounting bracket to the radiator support and remove the sensor.
5. Reverse the removal procedures to install.
