Crankshaft Main Bearings
Clean and oil all cap bolts. Install all cap bolts and alternately tighten in two steps using the following sequence.
Step 1 - .............................................................................................................................................................................. 27 Nm (20 ft. lbs.) torque.
Step 2 - ........................................................................................................................................................... Turn main cap bolts an additional 90°.
Install the crossbolts with new washer/gasket.
Start with crossbolt - A
Torque each crossbolt to .................................................................................................................................................... 28 Nm (21 ft. lbs.) torque.
Repeat crossbolt torque procedure.
Measure crankshaft end play.
