Vanity Lamp: Description and Operation
CIRCUIT OPERATION
Power for the visor/vanity lamps is supplied on Circuit M1. This is the Ignition-Off Draw (IOD) circuit and is protected by a 15 amp fuse located
in cavity 17 of the fuse block. Power for the fuse is supplied on circuit A7.
When the operator lifts the cover, a switch internal to the lamp CLOSES connecting the lamp to circuit Z4 illuminating the lamp. The Z4 circuit is
the ground circuit.
