Windshield Washer Pump: Testing and Inspection
1. Check for continuity between the ground circuit cavity of the pump wire harness connector and a good ground. There should be continuity. If OK,
go to Step 2. If not OK, repair the open circuit as required.
2. Turn the ignition switch to the On position. Check for battery voltage at the washer pump control circuit output cavity of the pump wire harness
connector with the washer switch depressed. If OK, replace the faulty washer pump. If not OK, see the diagnosis for the Multi-Function Switch. If
the switch tests OK, repair the circuits between the switch and the washer pump as required.
