Lower Ball Stud Removal
11. Remove ball stud seal. Use Remover/Installer C-4212 to press the ball stud from lower suspension arm bore.
INSTALLATION
Lower Ball Stud Installation
1. Press new ball stud in lower suspension arm with Remover/Installer C-4212.
2. Position new seal over ball stud. Use a socket to force lip of seal until securely locked in place.
3. Position the lower ball stud in steering knuckle.
4. Install the retaining nut on the lower ball stud:
- 11/16-16 bolt, tighten to 183 N.m (135 ft. lbs.) torque
- 3/4-16 bolt tighten to 237 N.m (175 ft. lbs.) torque
