Transmission Cooler: Service and Repair
REMOVAL
(1) Remove the grille and grille center bracket. Refer to Body and Frame, for correct procedures.
(2) Position a drain pan under the auxiliary oil cooler supply and return lines.
(3) Disconnect the two transmission oil cooler lines from the auxiliary oil cooler.

(4) Remove the four nuts and the auxiliary oil cooler (Fig. 58).
INSTALLATION
(1) Position the auxiliary oil cooler into the vehicle and install the four retaining nuts (Fig. 58).
(2) Position the supply and return lines and tighten the clamps.
(3) Install the grille center bracket and the grille.
(4) Start engine check for leaks.
